HR Orientation Training
During HR orientation you will be invited to come to the office where you will meet with the director, human resource and your future colleagues. This will give you a chance to meet with everyone and talk to each person individually. You will meet with Human Resources staff where you can ask any questions about benefits, policies, and compensation. HR will communicate about any important company policies, dress code, benefits and perks. You will also receive an HR handbook detailing all company policies and will have to sign off that you have received it.
Technical Training related to Job
Technically trained employees are more likely to have the confidence and skills necessary to perform their work at a high level. This improves employee morale and efficiency. You will be assigned a mentor in the same field as you who you will shadow and learn all the important duties of the positions. Through an ongoing process of technical training, an individual can gain recognition within an organization as a knowledge expert for specific topics. During this training you will learn about all your roles and responsibilities. You will receive training and help from your mentor so that you will be able to perform your job well. Your mentor has been working for many years and can offer you advice and show you any tips and tricks they have learned along the way.
Training during Probation
A probationary period is a time during which an employee's performance and on-the-job conduct is closely monitored and evaluated. The probationary period is generally used to make sure that the employee is an appropriate fit for his or her job. If an employee fails to meet performance expectations during the probationary period, the employee may be terminated, reassigned or offered additional training. The employee will receive training on any job related skills that they are lacking.
Training during Internship
Most employees at Qtech Solutions Inc. start off by first doing an internship. An internship is a great opportunity to learn more and explore a possible career path. The objective of the internship is to provide the individuals with an opportunity to put into practice skills they have learned while in school. In addition, students will have an opportunity to enhance those skills, obtain the perspective of a work environment and benefit from a mentor or supervisorís experience and professional advice. Learning and improving skills such as writing, verbal communication, research, organizational, computer, interpersonal, teamwork, presentation, and leadership is important. It is the development of these skills that often represents the major benefits of an assignment. Objectives could include learning about career opportunities, as well as the qualities and training required to obtain those positions. One of the major benefits of this internship assignment is how it helps you to develop self-confidence, assertiveness, and basic work habits. †
